Hands-on opportunities to contribute and belong
A core Adult Day Program plus five mission-aligned pathways -- Paws Are NEEDED, Gardens Are NEEDED, Cafes Are NEEDED, Creations Are NEEDED, and Advocates Are NEEDED -- work together to create hands-on opportunities for contribution, skill building, family support, and belonging.
Adult Day Program
A full day built around growth, choice, and community. The adult program is designed as its own secure wing, separated from Paws Are NEEDED's dog operations except through a common lobby/check-in area.
- Life Skills Classrooms -- cooking, money skills, communication, technology, self-advocacy, and practical daily living.
- Recreation / Multi-Purpose -- basketball, karaoke, exercise, dances, group events, movies, and large-group activities.
- Indoor Activity Area -- a quieter, flexible space for games, clubs, crafts, conversation, and smaller group activities.
- Cafes Are NEEDED + Teaching Kitchen -- hospitality, food preparation, customer service, kitchen skills, and community gathering.
- Outdoor Experiences -- raised gardens, greenhouse, sensory garden, pavilion, and walking trails as the campus develops.
Paws Are NEEDED
A dog boarding and pet care program designed to provide excellent care for pets while creating supervised, meaningful work opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Gardens Are NEEDED
Gardens and greenhouse spaces where participants can grow flowers, herbs, produce, and confidence through hands-on work in creation.
Cafes Are NEEDED
A future gathering place for coffee, baked goods, hospitality, and community connection.
Creations Are NEEDED
Handmade goods, packaging, gifts, and creative work that allow participants to make and sell products with pride.
Advocates Are NEEDED
You don't have to figure out what comes next alone. Advocates Are NEEDED helps families navigate adult services and connect with the right agencies, providers, and resources.

Are NEEDED's programs open now?
Not yet. NEEDED is in its founding phase. Programs will open in phases as facilities, staffing, and funding are in place -- join the interest list to be notified as each program nears launch.
What ages and disabilities does NEEDED serve?
NEEDED's programs are being built for adults with disabilities. Specific age ranges and eligibility criteria for each program will be published as they are finalized -- contact us with questions about a specific individual's needs.
Is Life Skills a separate program?
No. Life Skills is a classroom within the core Adult Day Program, not a standalone "Are NEEDED" pathway -- it is the skill-building thread woven through daily living and work-readiness ability alongside hands-on contribution.

Advocates Are NEEDED helps families navigate adult services and connect with the right agencies, providers, and resources -- you don't have to figure out what comes next alone.
