For Families

Support for families. Belonging for adults. Ability in action.

We are building a place where families can find support, adults can find belonging, and the community can see ability in action.

Raising an adult with a disability rarely stops needing support once school ends -- the daytime hours, the work opportunities, and the community connections often get harder to find, not easier. NEEDED exists to change that for families in Northwest Arkansas.

What We're Building

What families can expect from NEEDED

Meaningful daytime work

Supervised, purposeful work through Paws, Gardens, Cafe, and Creations -- not just activity, but real contribution.

A community that knows their name

NEEDED is built around relationships, not caseloads -- a place where adults are known, not just served.

Support for the whole family

NEEDED's mission includes the families who love and care for adults with disabilities, not just the adults themselves.

Questions

For families, answered

How can my family get involved before programs open?

Join the interest list. Founding families who sign up now will be the first to hear about program openings, volunteer days, and ways to shape NEEDED before it launches.

What does "founding family" mean at NEEDED?

A founding family is one that connects with NEEDED during the founding phase -- before programs formally open -- and helps shape what NEEDED becomes, whether through feedback, volunteering, or early advocacy.
